For employers and public-sector HR
When employees are bereaved, practical support matters too.
Grief affects the whole person, including their ability to deal with funeral arrangements, household finances, official notifications and the administration that follows a death. Through Funeral Experts, PHRENETECH offers non-clinical, impartial funeral and bereavement navigation that can complement an organisation's existing employee wellbeing, EAP and occupational health arrangements.

Where we fit
We provide a complementary bereavement wellbeing service focused on practical, financial and administrative support. It is not a replacement for:
- Occupational health
- An employee assistance programme
- Professional grief therapy or counselling
- Employee legal advice
- Emergency or crisis support
Our advisers signpost and refer people to specialist emotional, clinical and emergency services when their needs go beyond our remit.
Evidence of delivery
Our Liverpool pilot, delivered with Liverpool City Council and Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, shows how the service has been delivered and independently evaluated. It was a community pilot supporting bereaved families, not an employee benefits contract, so its results describe a different group of people. See the evaluated impact.
